Everything you might ask
Sizes, mats, frames, paper, delivery and returns — with pictures, because some of it is easier to see than to read.
Which size should I choose?
A4 and A3 suit shelves, desks and narrow walls. 50×70 cm is the classic statement size above a sofa or a bed. From 70×100 cm up you are filling a feature wall. Every product page lists all twelve sizes with live prices.

Drawn to scale relative to each other. A2, A1, A0, 27×35 and 61×91 cm sit between these and are on every product page too.
How does the passepartout work?
A passepartout — a mat — is the board between the artwork and the frame. It gives the picture room to breathe and makes a small print look considered rather than lost.
The important part: a mat does not make the picture bigger, it makes the artwork smaller. Both of these hang in exactly the same 50×70 cm space on your wall:
So when you add a mat we print the artwork one size down on purpose, so it sits correctly inside the window instead of being trimmed to fit. The cart tells you the printed size before you pay.
What are the frames like?
Slim wooden mouldings. Up to 50×70 cm (including A4 to A2) the profile is about 1.5 cm wide and 1.5 cm deep; from A1 upwards it is about 2 cm. Slim either way, so the artwork stays the loudest thing on the wall.
We mount your print in the frame before it leaves and fit the hanging kit, so it goes on the wall the day it arrives, portrait or landscape. You never receive a frame in one box and a poster in another.
Glazing: framed orders come with real glass or with lightweight shatter-resistant acrylic, depending on the size and where the order is going. The largest sizes — A1 and up — and every framed order shipped inside the USA always travel with acrylic, because glass that size does not survive a courier.
Every colour is on every product page, and the preview above the size selector is the same drawing you see here.
What paper do you print on?
Matte fine art paper at 200 gsm, printed with pigment inks. It is a substantial weight — it does not curl or feel flimsy — with a lightly textured surface that reads as paper rather than plastic. Matte means no glare from a window or a lamp, and the pigment inks are rated to hold their colour for decades rather than fading in a sunny room.

Will I pay customs charges?
Almost never. Your order is printed at the studio closest to you — in the EU, the UK, the USA, Canada or Australia — so within those regions nothing crosses a customs border and there is no bill at the door. If you live outside them, any import duties are set by your own country and are not something we can collect in advance.
Can I return my order?
Yes — 30 days from delivery, in original condition. If it arrived damaged, send us a photo within 48 hours and a replacement goes out straight away; you do not need to post the damaged one back.
Can I see how it will look on my wall?
That is exactly what the Wall Designer is for. Pick a room or upload a photo of your own wall, drop prints in, scale them to true size and try frame colours against each other. When the arrangement looks right, the whole wall goes into your bag in one click.
